The numbers were 5, 22, 25, 30- unfortunately there was no Jackpot winner however we had two lucky dip Winners of €25 each, Fiona Walker and Kieran Mellon.

Our next draw will be on the 19th of January. As the Jackpot was not won the Pota óir nua ná €1700

All the usual academy/juvenile/senior options are available with a few new additions for 2024.

We have introduced a cap on a family payment of €400. There are five family options available, but if your family does not fall into these five options, please contact the club registrar and we will assist.

Another new edition is a club charge of €40 for male players registered in different GAA clubs…..this is to help cover club costs

We will also hold a registration day in the clubhouse, later this month for those who do not want to register online.

Our next draw will be on the 5th of January. As the Jackpot was not won the new jackpot number will be €1600. A nice amount to help through a long lean January.

This is a great way to support Arklow Rocks to raise the funds needed to make our pitch and facilities better for the growing members and usable all year round. It will go towards drainage of the pitch, a new astro surface and flood lights.

Late Bardon goal sends Wicklow Intermediate champions through to Junior ‘B’ decider.

Wicklow Intermediate camogie champions Arklow Rock Parnells made an extraordinary debut in the Leinster Junior ‘B’ camogie championship when they played host to Carlow champions Burren Rangers at Pearse’s Park in Arklow on Saturday last, November 11. The Arklow side, who trailed their Carlow opponents for the entire game from the seventh minute onwards, only got their noses in front one minute into added time when Erin Bardon got the crucial touch in a goalmouth scramble to give her side the lead for the first time in the game as the finishing post approached. And they held on for a thrilling victory by 1-6 to 2-1.

A lot of work happened behind the scenes to get the Hurlers and Camogie players to Feile but they had fun getting involved too.

Tháinig Coiníní Cásca chugainn aréir. Easter Bunnies visited last night and left lots of lovely Easter eggs for the children of the Academy and our Bainisteoirí made sure we had fun with them before they could be eaten.

Great excitement for St Patricks Day with all the Rocks children, not just because they get to eat lots of sweets and take part in a parade, It means the Hurling-Camogie season is starting and it wont be long before they are spending their evenings on the pitch, training and playing their favorite sport.
